The Metropolitan District, Connecticut (MDC), successfully integrated ESRI’s Enterprise GIS with SAP using IMPRONTA’s GIS4ALL Sync Software in June 2020. During 2021, IMPRONTA helped MDC to migrate the Corporate Geodatabase from Oracle to SQL Server.
The Metropolitan District – a public non-profit municipal corporation was created by the General Assembly in 1929 to provide quality potable water and sewer systems for people and businesses in the Hartford area. From its beginning its services have expanded greatly to park maintenance, GIS services, recreation and household hazardous waste collection. Visit https://themdc.org/about-the-mdc/ .
IMPRONTA’s GIS4ALL Sync Software (formerly known as GIS2SAP) was built to help organizations to seamlessly synchronize Enterprise Geodatabases with SAP. GIS4ALL detects new assets or changes in the Geodatabase and inserts synchronization messages accordingly in SAP to create functional locations and equipments. Reversely, new assets in SAP are sync back automatically to GIS. Visit www.improntait.com .
